Four Proven Ways to Detox Your Body

Detoxing is an important element to keep the body healthy on the inside and glowing on the outside. As the amount of synthetic chemicals we are exposed to on a daily basis is increasing, it is even more important to ensure the body is detoxed. Here are 4 ways to clear toxins from your body. 

  • Poo everyday, 2/3 times is optimum. They should be well formed and and pass easily. No strong foul smell. Anything other than this suggests the bowel or digestion system is not working optimally.

  • Pee, but not too much! Frequent and/or sudden urination is a symptom in TCM that is correct with acupuncture and/or herbal medicine. Urine should be a light straw colour. First pee of the morning should be slightly darker and of greater volume. .

  • Sweat, for at least 20mins every day. Sweat cools the body down and also is one of the mechanisms the body uses to remove toxins. .

  • Breathe, the exhalation is another method used by the body to remove toxins. Breathing exercises are free and easy, get started with them today.
